Training & Coaches

Training is conducted by age group with MSC’s most qualified, licensed, and experienced coaches—many of whom coach at local high schools and colleges. A structured curriculum ensures age-appropriate development and progression.

Program Fees for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025

• Cost: $400 (covers Fall & Spring seasons)
  • Prices are scheduled to increase effective Fall 2025, more details to come
• Includes:
  • Training sessions at least twice per week (weather permitting)
  • League games: 8 per season (4 home, 4 away)
  • Two tournaments: Ohio Travel Cup (Oct.), Westlake Invitational (May), or Medina Invitational (June)
• Uniforms: Not included in the fee. However, MSC will provide uniforms for all new travel participants.
  • All subsequent uniform orders will be at the expense of the member

League & Season Structure

MSC teams compete in the Ohio Travel Soccer League (OHTSL), which includes 84 communities and 807 teams across Northern Ohio. OHTSL is a member of US Club Soccer.

• Season Timeline: July 1 – July 31 (following year)
  • Fall: August – October
  • Spring: April – June
• Games: Against nearby communities (e.g., Willoughby, Shaker, Kenston). No out-of-state travel.

Tryout Information

• No fee to try out!
• Registration Required (No payment due until a team invitation is accepted)
• Tryout Location: Krueger Park
• Check-in: Pavilion next to the playground
• Required Gear: Shin guards, water, soccer ball
  • Ball Sizes: U8-U12 (Size 4), U13-U14 (Size 5)

Registration & Payment

• No payment required at registration
• Offers will be sent via email within 7 days after tryouts
• Players qualifying for Free or Reduced Lunch receive a discount
